Original drawing by Miha Furlan is done with markers and crayons on 50 cm x 30 cm paper, the original artwork is currently not for sale.

Available as a limited edition print on A3 paper, limited to 2500 copies worldwide, both signed and numbered by Miha Furlan and sold exclusively in South-Africa in the Porsche Planet shop.

Privateers fight their own battles. In this drawing a Porsche 917 from team Salzburg , racing against the Scuderia Filipinetti Ferrari 512S during the 1971 Monza 1000km race.

Miha Furlan is 28 years old and comes from a small town called Ajdovscina in Slovenia. He's been drawing cars for as long as he can remember, while the other children drew boxes with two circles underneath, he was already drawing wedge shaped cars that looked very aerodynamic. His love for historic race cars came to life after he first played the legendary Grand prix legends PC game back in 1999. Later on his main interest became the 60's and 70's sportscars, everything from Can-am to Lemans and other forms of endurance racing, while still retaining his love for F1 cars. He has no formal education in the art field and is completely self taught. He loves to work with a variety of mediums, at the moment most of his work is done with a mix of markers and coloured crayons, but he also uses pastels, pen & ink and acrylics. His style varies from realism to semi abstract drawings.

Miha is also available for commission work and can draw any car of your choice from a photograph in either A3 (420mm x 397mm), A2 (594mm x 420mm) or A1 (841mm x 594mm) sizes, prices available on request and are based on the individual car.
